Providing a Community to Cultivate and Grow happiness
You can help persons with disabilities find happiness in their own homes, in their personal relationships, and as contributing members of their community.
Happiness happens here, but we need your help!
CSI excels at helping persons with disabilities to find happiness in their own homes, in their personal relationships, and as contributing members of their community. However, championing happiness takes more than our four-state family of non-profit, tax exempt corporations can provide through our programs. Can you help us champion happiness?
There are many ways you can help:
- Donate to CSI by providing either a one-time or recurring cash gift – just click on the link above!
- Contact us to discuss donations of other financial or nonfinancial assets
- Talk with your employer about how they can support CSI’s Mission through corporate giving
- Consider making CSI a part of your planned giving through gifts such as bequests, charitable trusts or annuities
Your donation will be used to help the people CSI supports live independently as well as to help cover the cost of medical care:
Basic Housing Needs
Nearly 600 persons with disabilities rely on CSI for basic housing needs. We need your help to ensure that their houses are not just a collection of walls and beams, but homes where those we support can love, laugh, and dream.
Funds provided to CSI may be used to:
- upgrade bathrooms so that they are fully accessible;
- redesign kitchens so that those we support can cook their own meals
- build ramps so that those in wheelchairs can access their homes independently
- make needed improvements so that home is always a warm and inviting place to live.
Drop-in & Day Supports
Over 100 persons with disabilities are supported by CSI’s case management or drop-in supports.
Another 200 persons receive day supports to help them work, develop relationships, and give back to their community. Your donations are used to purchase adaptive equipment that helps those we support to navigate their world. Adaptive equipment may include something as amazing as a device that helps someone manage the commute to work on a city bus or be as simple as a device that helps them express their needs, wants, and desires. These tools enable persons with disabilities to live and work as independently as possible.
Finally, many of those we support struggle with health issues. Donations to CSI help us to cover the cost of:
- medical services not covered by Medicaid or other sources
- such as visits to dentists
- nutritional supplements
- and other health-related expenses.
Please help us help bring happiness to persons with disabilities. Every donation is highly valued and greatly appreciated. Thank you!
